Welcome Our group investigates the complex interactions between microorganisms residing in soil environments and plant roots. We address both basic and applied questions that delve into the relationships between microorganisms, plants, and the soil itself, exploring their roles in plant health, nutrient cycling, carbon sequestration, and overall ecosystem health. We mainly work in agricultural fields, prairie, and wet meadow habitat of the Central Platte River Valley (CPRV) using a multidisciplinary approach that combines field, lab, and greenhouse studies. Team News January 2024: Greg receives an EPA sub-award and will be working with secondary ed. instructors across NE on the "know your well" initiative!
